Gloucester County Improvement Authority Greenhouse
The Gloucester County Improvement Authority (GCIA) constructed a greenhouse for the use of the Master Gardeners to grow plants for their community beautification projects and the Horticultural Therapy program that the Master Gardeners run through the GCIA owned Shady Lane Nursing Home. The Master Gardeners have been able to provide flowers for various other groups and have been able to provide flowers for a larger number of projects. The plants are used by all of the standing projects and special projects that come up through out the year. Extra plants are sold and the money is used to purchase supplies for the greenhouse.
